"Leah did such great work on my site. My clients LOVE being able to pay online with their credit card, and they especially love posting dogspace profiles of their dogs. It makes the website a joy to come back to over and over. There are a lot of features packed into the site but it maintains a very uncluttered, simple, yet tasteful look and feel." - Jordan Holt, owner Tall Tails Doggie Day Care
Check out the online demo site here. There is also an example site of a fully built out and version created exclusively for Tall Tails Doggie Day Care. Both of these sites have the same functionality and feature set, but have a very different look and feel. This should prove how unique and customizable this web offering can be. We are positive we can fulfill your unique needs, and are ready to work with you to realize your presence on the web. To find out more contact us!
Websites? Web Apps? What's the difference?
Websites
A website is a generally static presence on the web. Pages with content, that do not change frequently, and provide users with information constitute a website.
Web Applications
A Web Application, is more dynamic. It comes in many forms, but is usually interactive, with content driven by visitors of that website. There can be a backend database that holds the dynamic information, serving up data to web pages, as it is programmed to do. An example of a Web Application could be an online store or a social networking community.
Websites are pretty standard and easier to maintain and produce than a custom Web Application. Web Applications are more complex in their architecture and design. Whatever your need is, Linkedup LLC can help! Here are some examples of sites we have designed:
- Website Portfolio
- The Casparis Group - This client wanted a clean, bold, look and feel with a lot of static textual content.
- Norman H. Clapp and Associates - Was looking for an updated approach to the typical land surveyor's website. Clean, modern, with a moderate amount of static information.
- Web Application Portfolio
- Tall Tails Doggie Day Care - A Website and Web Application mixed into one. This small business was looking for a web presence that would also get his clients involved in the site to form and online community. We built a dogspace, where clients could upload their doggie profiles and share them with each other. We also provided a secure user authentication mechanism, and a secure online payment system integrated seamlessly with Authorize.net. Other features include an online boarding reservation interface, the option to "send me a bill via email", and a lightboxed photo gallery.
